About our Meetings

Every quarter, we plan to hold a virtual meeting of our members, providing presentations on technical editing topics.

Although we have over 2,000 members in our SIG, we will have to limit the number of lines that we have available for our teleconference, to budget the time and money wisely for everyone. We’ll record these teleconference calls, posting an MP3 file shortly after the meeting, such that it is available to all our SIG members. We’ll also post slides, materials, notes, or minutes for the teleconference call on our Web site ( SIG members only).

Right now, we hope to hold meetings in January, April, July, and October, but actual dates and times might vary. We hope to “see” you at one of our membership meetings!

In addition to these regularly scheduled programs and meetings, we hold informal watercooler chats (starting in 2010) various times throughout the year.
