Technical Editing SIG: Opportunities to Get Involved

Want to build your skills, portfolio, or network? Contact a SIG manager to get involved with our SIG!
Carol Lamarche said of her volunteering experience with the SIG,
“Volunteering with the Technical Editing SIG is a terrific way to hone my skill set. It’s also a great opportunity to interact with other professionals on exciting projects.”

Lori Meyer said,
“It is a great place to build skills and collaborate with colleagues. As a SIG member, I'm truly part of a community instead of being just a number on a spreadsheet; as a SIG leader, I feel both valued for the skills I can offer and challenged to grow. My involvement with the SIG has been time well spent!”

Anitha Abraham said,
“It’s been an exhilarating journey as a volunteer for the Technical Editing SIG. I’ve been a volunteer for the Corrigo newsletter for more than two years. Volunteering has been a wonderful way to experience the passion and the commitment with which everyone in the SIG works to create visibility, and to improve the field of technical editing.
